Wind turbines on open grassland

Renewable projects that communities trust.

We design, run and document participation and benefit-sharing for energy and infrastructure projects, so every decision is transparent and community data stays protected.

Scenario exploration

Explore before you decide

Energy and infrastructure decisions involve uncertainty and trade-offs between environmental, social and economic factors. Instead of presenting a single answer, we help communities and project teams explore options together and discuss what each one could mean for the territory.

Questions we help answer

  • What could happen if we change a key variable?
  • Which factors matter most?
  • Where are the main uncertainties and trade-offs?
  • Which indicators should we monitor after the decision?

We model the project, not the people.

Our scenario models use open, aggregated data and community knowledge, never individual profiles. They support decisions; they don't make them.

Scenario modelling is being developed and tested with partners.

What makes us different

Technology that starts from people

01

Knowledge before modelling

Local knowledge defines the problem and the variables before any model is built.

02

Exploration, not prediction

We make trade-offs and uncertainty visible. We don't claim to predict the future.

03

From participation to action

Every input is linked to decisions, commitments, actions and monitoring.

04

Responsible technology

Data minimisation, privacy by design and transparency from day one.

Long-term benefits

Value that lasts as long as the project

Trust

Relationships with communities that hold up over decades.

Lower costs

Fewer delays, disputes and late redesigns.

Access to finance

The evidence of engagement that lenders and authorities ask for.

Transparency

Open access to information, so communities know what is decided and why.

Data integrity and privacy

Sensitive information protected by design and kept accurate.

Our approach

Horizontal by design

Our methodology draws on Participatory Action Research and other traditions from the Global South. Communities are knowledge producers and partners in shaping their territory, not sources of data.

We combine this with privacy by design, so people can contribute what they know without giving up control of their data.

We don't certify that a project is sustainable. We verify how the decision was made.

What scales

The method, the tools and the indicators.

What stays local

Knowledge, priorities, actors and decisions.

Regulations

From commitments to evidence

Projects answer to local, national, EU and international rules. We connect requirements on participation, benefit-sharing, due diligence and data protection with concrete actions and verifiable evidence.

We complement legal advice; we don't replace it.
